The Gull magazine is Golden Gate Bird Alliance’s quarterly publication, distributed to around 3,300 individuals around the Bay Area and beyond. Our most recent Gull magazine issues are archived on our website and often republished on our blog here.
The purpose of The Gull magazine is to inform the greater Bay Area community about important conservation issues related to birds through stories about: the issues themselves, the work of Golden Gate Bird Alliance, the work of our allies/partners, the land, and of course, the birds in our own “backyard”.
Write for Our Magazine
As a small, mostly volunteer-run nonprofit, we do not have the means to pay contributors at this time. That said, we are always looking for new contributors to bring fresh writing/perspectives to The Gull and appreciate your interest in making this a truly community-based publication.
