Founded in 1917, GGBA is one of the oldest and most effective conservation organizations in the Bay Area. We work year-round to educate people about Bay Area birds and to protect these beautiful creatures and their habitat. Along the way, we have a lot of fun!
As a Supporting Member, you will receive the following benefits:
- Over 150 free expert-led bird walks each year.
- Free admission to our monthly Speaker Series featuring nationally-known naturalists, biologists, and conservation leaders.
- Discounts on birding classes, birding boat trips, and merchandise in our online store.
- Our quarterly printed Gull newsletter.
- Monthly e-newsletters listing bird walks and other activities such as our Christmas Bird Count and holiday open house.
- Volunteer opportunities — restore habitat, get involved in conservation issues, help introduce children to nature, and more.

- Brown Pelican (Individual): $35
- California Quail (Family): $50
- Ridgway’s Rail: $100 – $199
- Least Tern: $200 – $499
- Peregrine Falcon: $500 – $999
- Golden Eagle: $1,000 and above
