Winter Rarities

In winter, the Bay Area is home to a wide array of migrants which breed farther north – geese, dabbling and diving ducks, raptors, owls, loons and grebes. The sheer abundance and diversity of birds means there are many opportunities to find rarities mixed in with the more numerous common species.

Recordings of the lecture presentations will be available to class participants  for a limited period of time.

  • Lecture Thursday January 20: 7:00 to 8:30 pm.
